"This 140 page book is a passion project — one that dives into every edition of every game Splotter has ever published. It’s packed with meticulously compiled component Splotter Spellen is a cult Dutch board game publisher with a fiercely devoted following. This 140-page retrospective documents every edition of every game they've ever released, from components to behind-the-scenes stories from the founders.
Commissioned by author Dean Brandt in the summer of 2025, I handled full layout design in InDesign, building a visual system that could absorb a high volume of assets per chapter while staying consistent across 140 pages. Each game required sourcing, organizing, and placing imagery from Splotter's archive alongside detailed component tables, a structure that had to scale cleanly as the asset count varied significantly from chapter to chapter.
The book made its debut at Splotter's most recent convention.
